Story
Emma and Greg had a beautiful baby boy Jackson in March 2020. Jackson was stillborn 3 days after his due date and left Emma and Greg broken hearted. Abigail’s footsteps were a light of hope in the worst possible time, the hospital had an Abi Cooling Cot which meant that Emma and Greg could spend as much time as they needed with their baby. Following this Abigail’s provided counselling for Emma and Greg, finding a way to access this face to face despite the pandemic. Emma had an amazing community midwife who spent the whole time with her in the hospital, Abigail’s also provide training for midwives to support them to support families throughout the sad reality of baby loss.
We want to do everything we can to support Abigail’s to help other families who sadly have to face life with their babies in their hearts but not in their arms. This year Emma, Rob, Viki, Becca and Katie are walking 42km - a marathon, to raise as much as we can to support Abigail’s and the amazing work they do 💜

Since 2010, Abigail's Footsteps have worked to improve the way bereaved parents are cared for by hospitals and to better educate midwives on how to care for grieving parents.
Abigail's Footsteps also help by creating sympathetic space for parents in hospitals, to providing much needed equipment for parents to spend longer with their babies whilst also offering specialist baby loss counselling sessions.
Please help us raise vital funds so we can continue to support bereaved families.
Thank you.
