Services are provided at no cost to anyone who uses them, including family members. Hospice Huntsville is only funded for 40% of its operating costs by their government partners. They must raise the remaining 60% or $1,800 through donations, fundraising and events like the Hike.

Our Mother, Jean, did now want to go to the Hospice and leave her home. Mom was only there 1-2 hours when she said this was the right thing to do. The staff had made her feel that comfortable and safe. The Hospice makes residents and families feel at home and are there to help family members cope. This is our 8th year joining the walk as a family and friends. We know this is huge for our Mother, Grandmother, friend and the Hospice.
