Event: The Rugby March 2024, on 21 April 2024
Cheer on the Bears and support patient care. We are walking six miles through Bristol to raise money for St Peters Hospice, before celebrating together at the live Bristol Bears V Newcastle Falcons rugby game at Ashton Gate.

Story

On 21st April we will be stepping out together on "The Rugby March 2024" in support of St. Peter's Hospice which, like so many such good causes, deserves our support more than ever during these challenging times.

The Team at St. Peter's were there for Barbara, and all of us, when we needed them and this is our opportunity to give something back to ensure that their essential work with anyone impacted by life limiting illness, whether within the Hospice Inpatient Unit or amongst the greater Bristol community, continues.

Support given by St. Peter's is not just focussed on the need for physical care but also the psychological, social and spiritual issues that inevitably accompany serious illness, thereby ensuring the best quality of life possible for all involved in such difficult situations. Last year alone, St. Peter's cared for over 2,900 patients while also supporting patients' friends and family members during the most difficult of experiences.

Every penny that you are able to spare to support us on this challenge will be so very much appreciated, gratefully received and faithfully applied, helping make a real difference precisely when and where it matters most.

So from all of us, a big THANK YOU !!

Michael (Lewis), Debra, Andrew, Natanya, Isabel & Richard.
