In the wake of Covid-19, on the frontline of climate change and in the world’s warzones, life is tougher than ever for millions of children. This is why Save the Children are asking supporters to Walk the World for children in need.

We are asking Markel employees to sign up and pledge to cover as many miles as they can by running, walking, cycling, swimming or any other activity. You are welcome to take on this challenge solo, or create teams to maximise the miles covered. We will be asking you to get family, friends and colleagues to support you by donating to a personal fundraising page.

Cumulative miles covered will be tracked and at various millstones, we will share stories about StC projects so we can gain an understanding of the impact we are making by raising funds for this deserving charity. The distances will be equivalent to travelling from UK to Syria, Yemen, Sierra Leone or between key projects across the globe.
