Campaign by University of Leeds (RCN n/a)
MyMelanoma is a one-of-a-kind and collaborative research project working with melanoma sufferers to facilitate the most ambitious melanoma patient study ever conducted.

Story

Don’t forget the sunscreen!

Skin cancer rates are increasing as annual temperatures rise, resulting in increased deaths due to cancer transference to vital internal organs!

My Melanoma is a new charity, initiated by Sean Guinness, a Melanoma survivor with an incredible story, in conjunction with Oxford and Leeds Universities Cancer Research Unit. The aim is to gather data to enable the proper research in to the causes and treatments as well as prevention of this cancer. Please read more about the intended research here. https://www.mymelanoma.org/my-science

To help raise money for this charity, we are a team of 14 cyclists (one of whom is blind) who are going to cycle 430km in four days from Caen to Saumur. It’s a beautiful part of France but a tough challenge. However, we want to spread the word…Don’t forget the sunscreen…and try to help raise money for this very important charity. We’re so grateful for your support and no donation is too small (or big). Thank you : )
