Raising money for tastelife UK

tastelife is about just that: tasting life. tastelife believes in breaking free from eating disorders and rediscovering life in all its fullness. tastelife offers hope for sufferers and help for their supporters through the tastelife eight-session community course.

Story

To raise money for the brilliant charity TASTELIFE, Southampton University nursing society are holding a charity mixed netball tournament on Saturday 30th April.

This amazing charity is very close to our committee and has shown to have been of a massive importance to recovering from eating disorders. However, to keep charities such as tastelife going they need money in order to run the courses, train volunteers and help as many people struggling as possible.

We ask that for every player in the tournament a recommended £2 donation to play to fundraise. Anyone who is unable to play but would like to donate to this brilliant cause please do:)

If you or someone you know is struggling with disordered eating, I would recommend signing up for a tastelife course in your area. It is truly brilliant at not only focussing on helping the person struggling but also including families and loved ones in the recovery process.

1 IN 5 women in the UK may suffer from an eating disorder at some stage in their lives.

All donations are very much appreciated and are going straight to TASTELIFE charity
