Raising money for Pancreatic Cancer UK

Jog 28 Miles in February · 1 February 2023 to 28 February 2023 ·

It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months. That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope. Together we’ll make that possible.

Story

Our good friend and colleague Lisa was sadly diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in September 2020. She bravely fought but sadly lost her battle at the end of November in the same year.

Those of us who had the pleasure of working with her knew her as a kind, happy and warm individual with a great sense of humour and a source of positivity amongst us all. She worked tirelessly to help others and was a huge advocate for lots of pupils in her care over the 14 years that she worked for Sudbury Upper/Ormiston Sudbury Academy. It is a true privilege to have called her our friend.

Although we could not help to save her, we would like to show our collective support and hopefully be a small part of a bigger picture in helping to fund further research on behalf of Pancreatic Cancer UK.

Thank you for any and all support you may be able to give. All donations gratefully received.
