On 19th July 2025, I have taken on the challenge of the Peak District Mighty Hike, Team Payne-2025 will be joining me on a 14 mile half marathon trek, to raise funds for those living with cancer. This amount can provide essential support for Macmillan Nurses, who offer invaluable medical, practical, and emotional assistance to individuals and families affected by cancer currently there are around 3 million people living with cancer in the UK. Having experienced firsthand the remarkable work that Macmillan Nurses and their entire team do at the NGS MacMillan unit at Chesterfield Royal Hospital, I am deeply thankful for all the help and support they have provided since my diagnosis.
