Much like the Avengers, I have managed to assemble a crack team of superheroes to compete in the London to Brighton Bike Ride in June raising money for Blood Cancer UK. But instead of Iron Man, Hulk and Captain America, we are more like Fat Man, The Incredible Sulk and Captain 'Too old for this'!

Actually, I'm honoured and blown away that these guys are all pushing themselves to achieve this. I have suffered with a form of Blood Cancer for 5 years now and whilst I am still <ahem> fit, I want to try and raise as much money as I can for Blood Cancer UK where donations can contribute to further research and support. Blood cancer is the fifth most common cancer in the UK, with over 41,000 people being diagnosed with it every year.

My cycling buddy legends are helping me raise as much money as possible so dig deep and donate what you can.
