The People Tech team and People Services aim is to raise £10,000 through sponsorship and events in 2024, so that we are able to sponsor a room for a year to support families with children having treatment in hospital. Any donation would be greatly appreciated

Ronald McDonald House Charities UK provides free ‘home away from home’ accommodation to families with children having treatment in hospital.

Our Houses offer much more than just a place to stay; they provide family activities, peer support, respite, and many other services. This means that families can be by their child’s bedside in a matter of moments, whilst maintaining a degree of normal life with reduced emotional and financial strain.

Events held so far in 2024......

Glasgow Kilt walk 2024, on 28 April 2024 and raised £788

Easter Egg Raffle - raised £532

May 2024 - throughout May, we committed to walk 100 miles each to support RMHC. Each team covered 800 miles—the distance around the RMHC houses to complete the RMHC House to House Challenge and raised £1506

June 2024 - Members of the team took part in an inflatable 5K

November 2024 - Terri Jeffery completed 100,000 steps in a day, and raised £530
