Story
2021 was The Year to Make a Difference! Now in 2022, we are in The Year to Keep Going!
2021 was a great year with the completion of the Year long Challenge (300 miles Cycling, 300 miles Hiking and 100 miles Running) where in total we raised £2,634.39! Now we are in 2022 and this is The Year to Keep Going!
Team Perfection didn’t end in 2021 and although we are not taking on a Year long Challenge this year but specific events throughout the year, including; some long walks (a 23 mile Circular Walk of Rutland Water (9th July) with my good pal Paul Lees) and hopefully a Swimathon at the end of the year with some members of the Team Perfection Family! Watch this space For more details on this and further events.
If anyone has any ideas for events to help raise money then please do get in contact at teamperfectionfundraising@gmail.com . All activities will be recorded on Garmin and Strava.
For any of you that are not aware of the Team Perfection story, please take 2 minutes to have a read of the below … Thank You for your time …
Team Perfection was established after losing 2 of our very much loved ones; Beryl Setchell and Martin Willis, in recent years, who were simply ... perfection! Both unfortunately, we believe, contracted Sepsis, which is a horrible illness to have and made them both very ill! Sepsis affects 250,000 people annually in the UK, of which 52,000 unfortunately don’t survive. That is five deaths from Sepsis EVERY HOUR! To this end, we have chosen The UK Sepsis Trust as one of the two Charities to raise money for in 2021 to help with the treatment of this illness. We have also chosen ‘Help for Heroes’ who was a chosen Charity that Martin used to support and with his son Oscar, in the RAF currently, we will continue to support this wonderful charity.
We have also had a T-Shirt designed to support these challenges which come in Mens, Womens & Childrens Sizes and Fit. Please get in contact with Jaime if you are interested in purchasing one. They are priced at £23 each with all profits been divided equally between the 2 charities. Thank you to our sponsors; Idea Architectural Technology, TGI Sports and Tool Truck Preston who got in contact to support the challenge.

If you wish to support Team Perfection and any of its challenges and are able to donate then please click on the appropriate page (they both look the same below but when clicked, one will take you to H4H and the other to The UK Sepsis Trust) below to donate to the relevant charity! Thank you for anything you are able to donate! Any amount makes a difference! :-)
Thank you!
