Raising money for Paws on Plastic

Dundee Kiltwalk 2025 · 17 August 2025 · Start fundraising for this event

Paws on Plastic encourages dog owners to pick up a few bits of litter on walks to protect animals, communities & our precious environment. If we all do a little, it adds up to a huge amount, when areas are clean, less litter is dropped. It's a simple positive action which is great for mental health.

Story

Support our Paws on Plastic Team not just WALKING but also LITTERPICKING the Dundee Kiltwalk on Sunday, 17th August.

We did it last year and the section in the more industrial area of Dundee was very badly littered so close to the river.

Come and help us, meet some fellow POP members all while raising awareness and also vital funds to help us protect more animals, communities and the environment from the danger of litter.

We have registered a team to walk the Wee Wander at 11am. Sign up on the Kiltwalk website & link to this fundraising page or if you can’t make it, all donations are very gratefully received to help protect animals, your community and the environment from the very real danger of litter

It’s a great chance to get together with other members and meet some of those gorgeous dogs you’ve seen photos of. Dogs are very welcome on the walk & the route is flat and very accessible, mostly along the river which is just beautiful.

Paws on Plastic is a charity which encourages dog owners to pick up a few pieces of litter on walks to protect animals and our precious environment. So many animals are hurt by litter. We promote responsible dog ownership and educate people of all ages about the consequences of dropping litter.

It is a simple action that only takes a minute but makes huge difference. Collectively our 27,500 members remove over 40 million pieces of litter every year. Your contribution will increase this impact even more.

It's fantastic for mental health and well being and is something that is open to all.
