Story

We are doing the Walk of Hope this year in memory of our lovely mam, Moira Riley.

Mam died on 7 February 2016. She had a brain tumour. We had four months with her post diagnosis and we witnessed first hand just how cruel brain tumours can be.

We are hoping to raise some money for Brain Tumour Research by walking ten miles - Newburn to Prudhoe and back. Please consider giving what you can to support us. We need to stop this horrendous disease.

Mam was the most amazing, brave, kind and beautiful woman and is missed by us all every day.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.
