Ronnie has Athetoid Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy due to a lack of oxygen at birth. As a result he really struggles with his movement (his hands especially). He works with the incredible team at Rainbow Hub www.rainbowhub.org for conductive therapy to try and help him with communication and movement. As they look after vulnerable children with a range of difficulties, government advised them to be one of the first to close.

Pre Covid, this was a massive life line for my wife Joanne to have adult conversation and a brew with someone whilst someone else held Ronnie for a change. Due to his difficulties Ronnie can only sit unaided for a very short amount of time, less than a minute.

If they were unable to survive due this pandemic, I know Ronnie would not achieve half of what he is capable of. If you are looking for a charity to support, I don’t think you can find a better one than this and as a family, we would be ever so grateful.
