Story

On 27th May, a group from Royal London will be undertaking a sponsored bike ride for The Martin Gallier Project in memory of our dear colleague Matthew Lane.

The bike ride will start at Hooton station (near where Matthew lived) and cover a 20 mile distance, finishing in the centre of Chester by the river. The cycle path is a mixture of an old railway path (i.e. the Wirral Way), quiet residential streets and a tarmac cycle path in North Wales along the River Dee and then past the Chester racecourse to finish. Participants will then have the option of cycling back to Hooton or taking the train.

The team members are: Ben Dearing, Dave Clark, Fraser Inglis, Ian Kendall, Jamie Brannan, Lee Stopher, Mark Swettenham, Mike Kirkland, Richard Bullock, Stefan Marion, Tom Johnson.
