We're raising a small amount of money to say thank you.

On 28th May, our youngest son Leo woke us at 5am with a seizure that turned out to be far more serious than the febrile seizures common at his age. Paramedics couldn't bring it under control, and he was rushed to Medway Hospital, where the team managed to stop it. Five days later, Leo was transferred to the Evelina, where the neurology team's sharp diagnostic work identified ADEM — a rare, usually one-off inflammatory condition that can leave children temporarily altered, but from which most go on to fully recover.

The skill and genuine kindness of the doctors and nurses gave us real reassurance during some challenging days. This fundraiser is a small way of saying thank you — for Leo, and for all the children they care for every day.
