This is for our Hero, Benj, Benji, Bruv, Big Bro, Son, THANOS!

Last year the Dorothy House Hero walk seemed like the perfect event to honour Benj. He really was our hero, showing such strength, determination and courage throughout his short yet valiant battle with Bowel cancer. He even graced us with the most incredible sunset along the course as he lit the skies in brilliant hues of purple and pink.

This year things are certainly a little different, and we will not be able to look forward to meeting so many lovely and familiar faces along the way. But following the pandemic, it is now more crucial than ever to support charities like Dorothy House who have been so badly affected, yet are still delivering such vital services to patients and their families facing life limiting illnesses.

This year we are setting up a virtual 'Team Thanos' which you are more than welcome to join as an individual or within your own bubble or group! We would love to have you along for the ride while helping to raise funds for the amazing team at Dorothy House.

Abs (Benj's sister) has signed up for the 26-mile Mega Marathon Hero Monstrosity- a route that will be etched through the magical landscape of the Lake District National Park. I will be donning a cape and taking Benj along with me by wearing my Thano's Tee for the 42 km (that's 26.2 miles to you imperial folk- Yikes)!

Amf and Jos (Mum and Dad) will be walking a 5 mile route somewhere in the Homeland of Somerset (route tbc)....

If you can not take part then we would be grateful if you were able to share out plight and (if possible) donate a small amount towards the cause....
