We’ll be taking on the London Landmarks Half Marathon in support of Evelina London Children’s Charity.

This isn’t just another half marathon for us. Every mile we run is for my cousin.

As a child, my cousin developed encephalitis, which changed his life forever. Today, he lives with severe disabilities. He can’t walk or talk, and every day is filled with challenges that most of us could never imagine. Yet despite everything, he continues to show incredible strength and resilience.

Evelina London Children’s Hospital was there for him and for our family during the hardest time of our lives. The care, compassion and hope they gave us is something we will never forget.

Although my stepdad wasn’t part of our lives when my cousin first became ill, he has seen first-hand the impact his condition has had on our family. That’s why we’re taking on this challenge together—to give something back to the hospital that gave us so much.

Every donation, no matter the amount, will help Evelina continue supporting children and families facing life-changing illnesses, giving them the same care and hope that meant so much to ours.
