Team fundraising for Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity

Raising money for Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity

We help the babies, children and young people treated at Scotland's largest children's hospital, the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow. We fund medical equipment, research, play programmes and family support services to ensure that our young patients receive the best possible care and experience.

Story

We are supporting the Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity on behalf of Tommy by completing a 12 hour Spinathon and a Marathon to raise funds for children and families facing illness. Together, we can bring hope and joy to the future generation. The money raised will benefit children like two year old Tommy, who was diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroblastoma in March and is currently undergoing cancer treatment at the hospital.

The 12 Hour Spinathon will take place on Friday July 5, 2024 at Bannatyne Health Club Stepps. You don't have to be a member to participate! Classes will run every 30 minutes from 6.30am till 6.30pm. Our target is to raise £1,200 (£100 per hour).

Any level of fitness welcome. From 9.30 to 11.30 and 2.30 to 4.30 it is informal classes with no class structure, just come along cycle and have a chat.

The marathon will be completed on Thursday 4th July, 2024

Your support will make a meaningful impact to those children and families that attend the hospital. Together we can make a difference in their lives and show them that thy are not alone.
