Story
The challenge I have set myself is to complete an imperial century (100 miles), from the Soldiers of Gloucestershire Museum, Gloucester, to the Severn Hospice, Shrewsbury.
Two charities have been selected for which I am fundraising; the Soldiers of Gloucestershire Museum (SOGM) and Severn Hospice.
My wife’s uncle, Nigel, served with the Gloucestershire Regiment for 22 years. Nigel sadly passed away in Nov 21 after a long illness. In the months before his passing, SOGM had assisted with an event for Nigel to attend but unfortunately this wasn't to be due to his worsening condition. This is my way of saying thank you for their assistance.
Severn Hospice is a Shropshire based charitable care provider for those living with an incurable illness. In 2006, Severn Hospice cared for my Grandad whilst he battled cancer. Again, this is my way of saying thank you.
Any sized donation is welcome but when doing so, please try to maintain an equal amount to each charity. Your help is appreciated!
