This August, we will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro — the highest mountain in Africa — as part of a six-day high-altitude trek to raise £4,970 for Amnesty International UK.

We'll be joining a group of over 30 Oxford students on this expedition, organised by Choose a Challenge. The climb will involve multiple days of trekking at altitude, testing physical and mental endurance.

We're taking on this challenge to raise money for Amnesty International, a global human rights organisation that works to protect freedom of expression, defend individuals against injustice, and hold governments to account around the world. Amnesty’s work has never been more important, and this climb is a way to contribute meaningfully to that mission.

This is a demanding challenge — both physically and in terms of fundraising — and we are fully committed to the climb and reaching the £4,970 target. Every donation, whether personal or through corporate sponsorship, goes directly to Amnesty International, via JustGiving, making a tangible difference.

Thank you very much for your support. Any contribution, large or small, is hugely appreciated.
