Throughout June, I will be completing 3,000 push-ups to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust in memory of my mum, who recently passed away after her battle with bowel cancer.

My mum was one of the kindest and most caring people I have ever known. She always put others before herself, and it genuinely upset her whenever she heard about young people facing serious illnesses such as cancer.

I wanted to do something meaningful to honour her memory while supporting a cause that would have meant a lot to her. Teenage Cancer Trust provides vital support to young people and their families during some of the most difficult times of their lives.

I am taking on this challenge alongside Cameron Shearer, whose support has meant a great deal to me during this difficult period.

Each diagnosed young person will need specialised nursing care and support to get them through it. Teenage Cancer Trust are the only charity in the UK charity dedicated to meeting this vital need so no young person faces cancer alone.
