Due to Covid restrictions last year we had to change our hiking plans but now - THE HIKE GOES ON - JUST A YEAR LATER! Thanks to everyone who sponsored us last year/so far - we're really grateful.

We will now be hiking the 26.2 miles from Brighton to Eastbourne on Saturday 5th June 2021... stop laughing we have been and still intend to train!

I stumbled upon the mighty hike challenge in December 2019 and thought 'You know what, I'm going to do that!'... Mentioned it to a few people (who looked at me like I'd finally lost the plot!) then before I knew it Mark, Tina and Paul decided to join in the madness that we finally named 'Team Tenpole Tudor' – YES!! Over the hills with the swords of a thousand men – or in this case over the downs and the dreaded Seven Sisters!! (Team 'ten pint' Tudor at the end – maybe!! It is in Michael's memory after all).

It's not all about Michael though. We've all had our personal dealings with cancer, whether ourselves or those who are close to us. This is about the people we know who have survived, the people we have lost, the people undergoing treatment right now and the people amongst us that still have that dreaded news to come. All of whom have or will come into contact with and benefit from the amazing work MacMillan does. I can testify they are truly amazing. Macmillan's ambition is to reach everyone affected by cancer and we hope that our fundraising efforts will go some way to make this possible.
