Climbing Snowdon for Bury Hospice 2025!

Raising money for Bury Hospice

Bury Hospice provides palliative and end-of-life care to hundreds of residents and their families across Bury. It will cost to run the Hospice this year £4.8million and we raise 83% of this total, but with the support of our community we continue to provide care and services to those who need it.

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

2025 comes with another team effort to raise money for a great cause!

Last year we took part in the Great Manchester run and this year, teams TFP Manchester and TFP EU are joining together for a challenge to climb Snowdon- the highest mountain in England and Wales with the aim to collectively raise £2500 for the Bury Hospice!

Having admitted its first patients on 24th June 1991, Bury Hospice has since gone on to provide invaluable palliative and end-of-life (EoL) care to hundreds of local residents across Bury and the wider area. They provide provide specialist twenty-four hour inpatient, medical and respite facilities, care for people with life-limiting illness, whilst doing everything they can to help support their families and carers.

It costs £4m to run Bury Hospice services with a 13% contribution from the NHS. The remainder is raised via their own income generation streams which includes fundraising, retail and lottery.

Every donation makes a difference, hence anything you can contribute will be much appreciated!

We're very excited about this initiative and getting ready to put those hiking boots on and get ourselves to that summit!

With big thanks,

Jen, Ed, Amy, Amanda, Simona, Evangelia, Iona, Neale, Tom and Lucy :)
