We are taking on the South West Coast Ultra Challenge – a 50km walk – on 2nd August 2025 to raise money for Mardon Neuro-Rehabilitation Centre in Exeter, a place that has become so important to our family.

In December, our Dad suffered a stroke, and in January, he was transferred to Mardon to begin his rehabilitation journey. When he arrived, he had little to no movement on his left side and was unable to do anything independently. However, thanks to the incredible staff at Mardon, he has made unbelievable progress. Dad can now walk around 25 metres with assistance, get in and out of his wheelchair unassisted, and has regained so much independence.

Over the next few months, Dad will be leaving Mardon, and we want to give back to this amazing centre as a way of showing our deepest gratitude. The care, dedication, and expertise of the team here have been life-changing, not only for Dad but for us as a family.

Every donation, big or small, will go towards helping Mardon continue their incredible work, supporting people like our Dad in their recovery.
