Alder Hey Children's Charity takes on the Coniston Challenge in July 2025.

We're Taking on the Coniston Challenge for Alder Hey!

We are a psychology team from Alder Hey Children's Hospital, who, on a lovely sunny Monday morning while in work decided to sign up to complete the Coniston Triathlon Challenge! On the 5th July, we'll be pushing ourselves to the limit to raise funds for the amazing young people and families we support every day.

We'll be taking on the Coniston Challenge — a one-day event involving a 15km cycle, a 3km canoe, and a 17km hike up the Old Man of Coniston. It’s going to be tough, but nothing compared to the strength and resilience we see in our patients and their families.

Please give what you can — and cheer us on as we climb, paddle and pedal our way through the Lake District!
