Story
Team Garment Works - The Garment Factory x Cadworks
After three fantastic years of fundraising for The Beatson, Alix Dunlop, Building & Events Manager at The Garment Factory, decided to go bigger this year – teaming up with her brother-in-law Adam Dunlop from Cadworks to form a multi-building super team for Strictly Beatson 2025.
We’ve gathered six amazing women from across The Garment Factory and Cadworks, each dancing for their own special reason:
Wendy McLaughlin – of Shoosmiths LLP, a proud “dance mum” who’s finally stepping into the spotlight herself to raise funds for an incredible cause.
Ally Parker-Banks – Net Zero Coordinator at Autorek and part-time archaeology student, taking on the challenge for fun, fundraising for the vital charity.
Mari-Anne Devlin – of TLT, inspired by her mum and best friend’s cancer stories; now a wellness coach giving back through dance.
Sakshi Shah – from The Media Shop Scotland, who loves saying yes to challenges that scare her (especially for a good cause!).
Tieghan McMullan – also from The Media Shop Scotland, dancing in honour of her sister-in-law, who’s currently receiving Beatson’s support.
Joanne Irvine – freelance consultant and lifelong Strictly fan, dancing in honour of her mum and loved ones affected by cancer.
We’re dancing for hope, joy, and everyone whose lives The Beatson has touched. Every donation helps this incredible charity keep doing what they do best – supporting patients and families through the toughest times. 💛
Expect plenty of sparkle, a lot of hard work, and a whole lot of heart as they dance in honour of those who’ve been touched by cancer. Every donation, big or small, gets us one step closer to our fundraising goal—and reminds us exactly why we’re dancing. 💛
Thank you for your support, wish the team luck on the dancefloor! ✨
