More and more families and friends face the dreaded news that a loved one, friend, work colleague or themselves are diagnosed with Cancer.

A relation and friend of our team, Abi, was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in December at the age of 19.

Deej’s younger cousin, funny, intelligent and someone who exudes beauty inside and out (how she’s related to Deej we’ll never know) has been receiving treatment for Cancer since January.

In the only fashion Abi knows, she has attacked the treatment head on with determination and such admirable strength.

Whilst this time has been beyond tough for Abi, it obviously goes without saying that it’s caused upset and worry for family and friends. Yet the most positive and courageous person throughout this time has still been the wonderful Abi. We’d be lost without her incredible positive attitude. We don’t know how you do it Abs, we’re all in awe of you.

So… we have drafted the fastest, fittest and strongest people we know to run 13.1 miles to raise for a charity that helps young people battle cancer directly.

However, they were all busy.

So we’re left with what should be The ‘A’ Team, but its more of a B team…
