Every year Group 138 travels to Lourdes as part of the HCPT Pilgrimage at Easter time. We are walking the Kiltwalk Mighty Stride on 11th August 2024 in Dundee to raise funds to allow us to support another group of children to join us next year. All money raised will pay for children's fares, day trips or treats during the Pilgrimage and anything that the children may need in advance of the trip such as clothing. Helpers pay their own fares.

This year just after we returned, our HCPT and Lourdes joy turned to great sadness within days through the death of our chaplain and friend Fr Martin Chambers, who was also due to become Bishop of Dunkeld. Fr Martin’s enthusiasm for HCPT was immense and he gave so much to so many through his years of priestly ministry. All of us who had the privilege to encounter him in that ministry, or even to have been on the receiving end of his relentless teasing, will always love him as our HCPT favourite says “deep down in our hearts.”

And by coincidence we will be walking from St Andrews to Dundee, where he would have been installed, on the same weekend the new Bishop will be installed….
