Story
Thank you for looking at our JustGiving page.
We're a group of 9 girls taking on the 23 mile Kiltwalk and, frankly, we've no business doing so.
Most of us are not fit. We re not hikers. Our idea of "training" usually involves a brisk walk to the pub. And yet here we are, voluntarily signing up to walk 23 miles, powered by snacks, sarcasm, and pure stubbornness.
There will be moaning. There will be blisters. There will be moments where we seriously question our life choices. Spirits may dip. Feet WIlL hurt. It may become a regrettable decision BUT - there is a drink (or several) waiting for us at the finish line, and that alone should get us most of the way.
Jokes aside, this walk means a lot to us.
Most of us have been affected by cancer, and we've seen how devastating it can be — not just for those diagnosed, but for their families and loved ones too. We’re walking to raise money that we hope will make a real difference to cancer sufferers, whether through care, support, or research.
So please, if you can, sponsor us. Help turn our sore legs, ruined trainers, and emotional breakdowns at mile 18 into something positive. We promise to walk every mile, complain the whole way, and raise a glass to everyone who's supported us when we finally cross that finish line. I mean I'm sure we will cross that finish line😂
Thanks so much for donating - it really does mean so much to us all!x
