Charles, Alison , Danielle, Gary, Juliet, Nicola and Nick are planning a Coast to coast to raise funds for Cardiac Risk in the Young in memory of Josh , Charlotte’s husband . We will be starting at Whitehaven on 2 May and cycling to Tynemouth over 3 days.

On 1 September 2025 Josh suddenly and unexpectedly died . It has been a heartbreaking time for Charlotte, Sophie and family . We would like to raise funds to help to set up a screening programme in Josh’s memory .

Every week in the UK at least 12 apparently fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed cardiac conditions.

With your donation, CRY can reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD) by working with cardiologists and family doctors to establish good practice and appropriate screening facilities to promote and protect the cardiac health of our young.
