Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

My son, Sam (16) and husband, Neil are cycling from John O' Groats in the far north of Scotland to Lands End at the very southern tip of England. This is around 1000miles and they are aiming to cycle about 80 miles on average each day. Ethan (14) is hoping to complete the Auchterarder to Peebles section. They leave Perth on the 9th June travelling by train to Wick then on to John O Groats and will set off from there on the morning of the 10th June 2021. Final destination is Lands End by the 24th June.

This a mammoth cycle and will be a great achievement and experience. Please support them on their cycle by donating to our fundraising page.

Some of the pre-cycle training has been lacking due to weather, exams and a broken clavicle but I know that with everyone's support they will make it. We have chosen 2 charities so please donate to either or both! You will see 2 donation buttons. One is for Perth Autism Support and one for The Lighthouse for Perth.

Perth Autism Support supports young people with autism and their families in Perth and Kinross. They currently support around 240 young people every week and are an invaluable and amazing support to the 870 families registered with them (of which we are one)

The Lighthouse for Perth is a local charity that provides a safe place for young people who are at crisis point of self-harm/suicide. Sam wanted to choose a teenage mental health charity and we hope that through this cycle and donation we can raise some vital funds to support their work with young people.
