Raising money for Multiple Sclerosis Society

London Landmarks Half Marathon 2024 · 7 April 2024 ·

In 2024, 150 MS Superstar runners will take on the London Landmarks Half Marathon, to raise funds and awareness for the MS Society and to help stop MS. This is their team page.

Story

So here is the story behind why we've decided to run the London Landmarks half marathon!

As most of you already know, my Dad Trev has Multiple Sclerosis so raising money for the MS Society really is supporting a cause that is very close to our hearts. He is a true inspiration to James and I, never being one to allow this condition from stopping him do the things he loves. From catching the train to watch his beloved West Ham, to taxiing us around and even walking me down the aisle, Trev has always been there for us and now we'd like to return the favour and do something for him.

Having never ventured much further than 5km up until recently, I thought the time was right to set myself this challenge and support a good cause in the process. Not being one to miss out, James has offered to act as my training partner and pace maker during the run.

Any donations towards our efforts really will be appreciated and will serve as great motivation to get ourselves out pounding the pavements during the gloomy, winter months. The MS Society carry out some amazing work, funding world leading research and supporting those diagnosed with MS, so your money would very much be going to a worthy cause. If you'd like to understand just how they go about this, a link to their website can be found here... https://www.mssociety.org.uk/

Thank you for taking the time to visit our page. Any support, be it words of encouragement or a financial donation, will mean the world to the two of us.
