Nearly four years ago I ruptured two discs in my spine, an injury that completely changed my life. As a hairdresser, being on my feet is everything, and there was a time when I wasn’t sure if I’d ever feel strong or mobile again.

Through rehabilitation, patience and a lot of determination, I’ve slowly rebuilt my strength. Movement is something I no longer take for granted.

On 18th May 2026, I’ll be walking 18 miles as an ambassador for Glowwa to raise money for Hair Reborn Charity.

Working in the hair industry, I see every day how important hair is to confidence, identity and feeling like yourself. Hair Reborn Charity supports people experiencing hair loss during cancer treatment, helping them regain confidence at an incredibly difficult time.

This challenge is both a personal milestone in my recovery and a way to give back to a cause that truly matters to me.
