Story
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a neurological condition that affects the nerves. It occurs when the immune system mistakenly attacks the protective coverings of nerves. Once diagnosed, MS is a lifelong condition, and while treatments can help manage symptoms, there is currently no cure.
This cause is deeply personal for all of us. Alex’s mum has battled MS for most of her adult life, and Ana’s cousin is also living with MS. We’ve seen firsthand how challenging and life-changing this condition can be. That’s why we’re coming together as a group of friends—AKA “the Herd”—to take on the London Landmarks Half Marathon and raise funds for the MS Society.
For four of us (the boys), this is our first-ever half marathon, making it an even bigger challenge! The MS Society does incredible work, from supporting those living with MS to funding research for better therapies, treatments, and one day, a cure.
We’re aiming to raise as much money as possible to help make a difference. Any donation, big or small, will mean the world to us and those who benefit from the MS Society’s work.
Thank you for your support!
