My first fund raise for Action Medical Research was over 40 years ago and I thought it was time to do another.

Together with Sarah, my wife and two of my children, Millie and Harry, we will be taking on Race the Sun Lake District for children's charity Action Medical Research. In September we will be setting off at sunrise to bike, hike and paddle around a challenging course in a race against the sun.

Sarah and I have been lucky enough to have 4 healthy children, two of whom will join us on this challenge. Other parents and families are not so lucky, hence our support for the fantastic children's charity, Action Medical Research.

They have spent over 70 years funding vital research to help defeat the diseases that devastate the lives of sick and disabled babies, children, and young people.

By supporting our family you will be helping other families through Action Medical Research to find ways to reduce premature birth, to support children facing a lifetime of challenges caused by disabilities, and to develop cutting-edge therapies for rare and incurable diseases.
