The Nicod girls are taking part in Trek26LakeDistrict2026-26miles

After months of noticing our lovely Mam was forgetful, sometimes anxious and confused we received the news that she has Alzheimer’s.

It was almost a relief to have confirmation of our suspicions but also devastating to know that life as we knew it has changed for us all forever.

The Nicod ladies have a strong bond that helped us through the death of our beloved Husband and Dad almost 10 years ago and we know we can get through this together.

The Nicod sisters, Lorna and Alison, are doing this walk to join other families in the fight against dementia and make their Mam proud.
