Story
By sponsoring my Air30 Airbase challenge you can help make a Mission Possible.
Each year it costs in excess of £10 million to maintain this vital pre-hospital critical care service.
Each air ambulance mission costs an average of £2,500. Each critical care car or cardiac car mission costs £224 on average. The charity does not receive funding from the Government or National Lottery for its daily missions so relies entirely on the support and generosity of local people and businesses.
Since 1991 Midlands Air Ambulance have has responded to over 60,000 missions, making us one of the busiest air ambulance services in the UK.
Myself and louise are the manager and deputy at a small residental home in shropshire and are doing this with our residents. we have both had family members whom have used the air ambulance as being in the countryside and it has helped save their lives. Also we want to help this vital service for ourselves and our residents. So we are doing 121 miles in 31days starting on 1st may.
