After being so great and strong the amazing Julia Sargeant passed away from cancer. During her brave battle she was supported with unconditional compassion by the Macmillian cancer support charity who were constantly available for support and guidance.

Julia lived life to the fullest and sport was a large part of this. Julia was a keen netball and korfball player, had embarked on a half marathon, completed her own long walk and was never prouder than watching her grandson Toby play football.

In recognition of her passion for sports Kerry and Penny are embarking on a 100km walk from London to Brighton. This will be incredibly challenging but not in comparison to the battle that thousands face with cancer each day.
