Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition - to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years to focus on radical improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and support, we will stop prostate cancer being a killer.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Back in May 2021 I heard the words no-one ever wants to hear "You have cancer". And so started some of the darkest days. During this time I connected with Prostate Cancer UK who were the most unbelievable support to me to start working towards my full diagnosis and treatment and what the road ahead looked like.

The cancer was found and I had an operation at the beginning of June to completely remove my prostate. I was one of the lucky ones, just.

Prostate cancer has affected the lives of myself and my family in a huge way as my Dad had prostate cancer some 26 years ago. The advancement in treatment and support over that time has been phenomenal. This needs to continue and it is with your help we can support others like me in the future.

So Sean Cornell and Andre Russell (Team MustHaveBeers) will be doing that 100km Thames Path Challenge on September 9th walking continuously from Putney to Henley.

You can follow our training journey and then the walk itself on my insta page https://www.instagram.com/thebigmanwalksandtalks/
