We are 'The WHY Project' Kiltwalk team

A group of staff, volunteers, family and friends walking together in this year’s Edinburgh Kiltwalk to raise vital funds for our youth work charity in South West Edinburgh.

At The WHY Project (The Wee Haven Youth Project), we provide a safe and supportive space for young people aged 11–18. 5 days a week, we run youth clubs, groups and holiday programmes where over 120 young people can have fun, feel safe and think about their futures. From hot meals, educational activities, mental health, employability and fun activities like pool, games, arts and crafts and cooking we’re here to walk alongside young people every step of the way.

This year’s Kiltwalk is especially important to us. As a small charity, every pound raised makes a huge difference, helping us keep our doors open, put food on the table at our clubs and create opportunities for young people who need them most.
