Three Peaks Challenge in Memory of Rhys

Raising money for ANDYSMANCLUB
In memory of Rhys

ANDYSMANCLUB facilitates groups where men aged 18 and above can speak openly about their issues in a non judgmental environment through shared experiences. Groups run nationwide every Monday 7pm except bank holidays and are completely volunteer-led with no charge to any man.

Story

We are raising money for Andy's Man Club in loving memory of our dear friend, Rhys, who we tragically lost in January 2024.

Rhys was a lifelong lover of the outdoors; especially when given the opportunity to share the time with friends, family and his dog, Benji. He had completed the Ten Tors challenge multiple times and had more recently completed walking the length of the two moors way with his family. Rhys was even planning to take on the Three Peaks Challenge himself.

In his memory, a group of Rhys's family and friends embarked on this very challenge, climbing the three highest peaks in the UK over three consecutive days. The challenge culminated on August 8th, 2025, which would have been Rhys' 30th birthday.

This challenge is not only a tribute to Rhys and his passion for the outdoors, but also a way to raise awareness and vital funds for Andy's Man Club. This amazing charity works tirelessly to provide safe spaces for men to come together, talk, and support each other through difficult times.

By taking on this challenge, we aim to honour Rhys and support Andy's Man Club in their crucial work of supporting men's mental health. Your generous donations will make a significant difference to the charity and the men they support.
