Story
Dee, Martha, Tim, and Kieron make up guns and buns. We are taking on Battle Cancer at London olympia on 19th October. This is the ultimate fitness fundraiser, working as a team over 90 mins, we must complete 9 stations, lifting as heavily and with as many reps as possible, whilst synchronised, and clocking up as much distance on the bike and ski ergs. A test of endurance to raise money for an amazing local charity, Chestnut Tree House, who's work with children and their families is invaluable.
Chestnut Tree House is the children’s hospice for Sussex and South East Hampshire. Thanks to support from the local community children and families who know they don’t have long together have the chance to live life to the full. And, when the time comes, Chestnut Tree House is there for children and families to provide specialist end-of-life care and ongoing support.
The generosity of the local community makes this happen. It costs almost £6 million every year to provide hospice care for local children, with only 21% of this funded by the government. You can show your support by fundraising, volunteering, taking on a challenge, playing the Chestnut Tree House lottery, or leaving a gift in your Will.
