Story

Help us get moving this June! A group of us from the TIMMS research group in the Department of Health Sciences at University of Leicester are walking to raise money for SANDS. Some of TIMMS research focuses on the causes and consequences of stillbirth and neonaral death, so we wanted ro support this wonderful charity which provides support for families who have tragically experienced the death of their baby.

Deb, Lucy and Ruth from TIMMS aim to walk 100 km between June 1st and June 30th in support of families whose baby has died.

Together with Sands we want to ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. We want to campaign for change and support research so that fewer babies die and so that fewer families experience the pain of losing a baby.

Every step we take will help ensure no one faces the loss of a baby alone. Together we can continue to do all that we can to stop families from experiencing this devastating tragedy.
