Target Ovarian Cancer is the UK's leading ovarian cancer charity working to improve early diagnosis, fund life-saving research and provide support to women with ovarian cancer.

Unfortuantely like many others, not so long ago. we too got the shockingly devastating news of a cancer diagnosis in our family. Having bravely undergone multiple opperations and chemotherapy treatments amazingly she will be striding out over the 5 km course to raise important funds for this extremely worthwhile charity. We will all be there to encourage and support her as she completes yet another personal challenge - for this we remain immensely proud of her

So collectively as a family on this years Mother‘s day (March 22 nd) we have decided to unite as a team to hopefully raise as much as we can for Target Ovarian Cancer at this wonderfully named event “run for mum”.

We have mum and daughter completing the 5 Km distance together and one daughter inlaw taking on the 10 km race and one daughter inlaw running the half marathon. Good luck to us all

Awareness of ovarian cancer is low and we are hoping that by taking part in this national event, we can help raise the vital funds that will help to raise the awareness, fund research and ultimately save lives whilst at the same time keep fit ourselves.
