My team fundraising for maternity medical kits in Palestine

The continuous escalation of violence in Gaza has seen Palestinians lose loved ones, suffer from horrific injuries and endure the trauma of mass displacement. Despite the extreme difficulties faced by our brothers and sisters in Gaza, their unshakable and unwavering faith has been an inspiration to us all.

Islamic Relief remains steadfast in our determination to assist Palestinian families. Working closely with our local partners, we are distributing essential items to affected families.

Join us in fundraising for this Maternal Healthcare project which aims to provide primary healthcare services to 15,342 individuals (2,557 households) as direct rightsholders, and an additional 30,000 as indirect rightsholders.

With your support, the main activities that will be funded are as follows:

£5,000 can provide birthing services to 20 pregnant women in critical condition (caesarean or natural birth as required)

£3,500 can provide a food parcel to 50 pregnant women to offer food security and improve the health of their children

£3,450 can provide medical services for 30 pregnant woman including check-ups, testing and ultrasound images

£3,000 can provide a post-natal care package for 50 mothers with newborns including essential hygiene items for both

£1,000 can provide post-natal medical kits for 200 mothers and their newborns

£250 can support pregnant and breastfeeding mother by providing a birthing service.
