We are a just group of everyday, normal Dads, from a varying array of backgrounds who live in a small rural setting. Recently we were hit by the awful news that a member of our community, (a Dad - just like us), felt that life was not for him anymore and the worst happened. When a situation like that occurs, regardless of how well you knew the person, it is very difficult to not think about why and wonder if there was anything, no matter how small, that you could have done.

The Topless Challenge is our attempt at doing something. We have obtained a few old, convertible cars and are completing road trips, with the car tops down, regardless of conditions. We are doing this to promote positive mental wellbeing for ourselves and for others, whilst trying to raise a little bit of money along the way! Getting together to organise the website and what we are doing in the cars has created different environments for us talk and learn things about ourselves that we may not have known before. On top of that it is great fun to go out in the cars...……….rain, shine or snow!!

We have completed some smaller trips already (see www.toplesschallenge.org) and plan on driving the 500 mile round trip to Bognor in March 2020. We know this technically may not be winter, but it could still be a challenge! A big trip to end this season while we plan for next!
