Story
The Tour De Luce charity cycling event started in 2022 after our beloved Lucie Simpson was first diagnosed with Breast Cancer.
We started this cycle to raise money for Guys Cancer Charity, which has been and continues to be the most amazing support network and provide exceptional service and care to all.
After undergoing treatment throughout 2022 Lucie was then diagnosed with a brain tumour in early 2023 and battled this with the same resiliency as she had done before.
Lucie spent the remainder of 2023 in and our of Guys hospital receiving treatment.
On the 17th June 2023 Lucie sadly lost her battle with cancer after spending a few days in hospital surrounded by her loved ones.
Year 1 we cycled just over 200km in one day, Year 2 320km over 2 days and Year 3 we were joined by over 70 family and friends in Richmond park for a full day of cycling, running, walking to complete over 2,200km around Richmond Park.
Year 4 we return to Richmond Park on the 7th June for another full day of excercice, fundraising and sharing memories of the most joyous woman we all knew!
