Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page for our charity cycle raising money for Guy’s Cancer Charity.
Last year Lucie was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Lucie underwent treatment through the whole of 2022 with the amazing Guy's Hospital. In response, myself and 4 friends took to the roads in July '22 to raise money for Guys.
In January this year we found out that Lucie's cancer journey wasn't quite over when she was diagnosed with Brain cancer, less than 12 months on from her first diagnosis.
Lucie has faced this with great positivity and strength, as she did last time.
Watching someone, especially a loved one, battling cancer is not easy to say the least, even if it is for a second time.
Myself and 5 friends will, again, be taking to the roads this June to cycle from London to Devizes (160 km) and back from Devizes to London (160 km), a total of 320 km over 2 days! This is to raise money for Guy’s cancer charity where Lucie has been receiving ongoing treatment. The facilities and staff at Guy’s are absolutely amazing and have made the past few months as stress free as possible.
