Event: Race The Sun: Brecon Beacons 2021, on 12 June 2021
Teams of four will be setting off at sunrise on this Triathlon-style adventure challenge aiming to finish before the sun sets! Teams will cycle, hike and canoe around the breathtaking Brecon Beacons.

Story

Jake, Dane, Riley & Harrison have set ourselves a bit of a challenge to do Race the Sun in the Brecon Beacons. It's 85K+ of cycling, a 12K run (both with significant climbs) then finished off with a 3K Canoe.

We've all committed to put in some serious training beforehand so we're hoping to put in a very respectable time (maybe even win). We'll be posting my training on instagram and strava so you can follow our pain. See links on our individual justgiving pages.

Anything you could contribute for this great cause would be massively appreciated. If you want to set us a side challenge as a condition of your donation let us know! COVID restriction permitting we'll be meeting up to do a couple of training challenges in advance.

The cause:

Action Medical Research are the leading UK charity funding vital research to help defeat the diseases that devastate the lives of sick and disabled babies, children and young people.

As a team of 4, we are taking part in this extremely tough dawn to dusk event where we will cycle, hike and canoe to raise money for this incredible cause.

With your help, were determined to make a real difference to children's lives.
